As an Undergraduate Researcher with Dr. Fan Zhang's lab at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy, I have cultivated valuable research skills in experimental design and data analysis. In Dr. Zhang's lab, we design and evaluate novel polymeric nanoparticle platforms to enhance drug delivery to glioblastoma, a primary brain tumor with high unmet patient need. My work in flow cytometry, confocal microscopy and in-vitro cell-based assays has warranted co-authorship on a recent publication and earned me the opportunity to participate in an independent project through the University Scholars Program.
